NEPAL VOX – CRECIENDO EN NEPAL WORKSHOPS FOR THE BOYS AND GIRLS WHO WE GO WELL WITH IN KATHMANDÚ
Qué significa NEPAL VOX?
VOX es un término genérico que engloba una parte artística y una parte humanística; VOX es la palabra que resume ese doble objetivo del proyecto.
Por un lado la acepción artística de la palabra expresa un gran componente de los talleres, el canto coral, dónde la voz a través del canto de los niños y niñas es una de las grandes protagonistas.
Luego, la “voz” entendida también como un medio hábil de expresión de ideas, sentimientos, comunicación y uno de los medios de creación de vínculos afectivos más poderosos de los que dispone el ser humano.
Partiendo de este título vislumbramos un doble objetivo: escuchar aquello que los niños y niñas tienen que decir, lo que piensan, lo que sienten, aunque no más sea en ese momento preciso y por el otro lado como el arte y la música conforman un lenguaje universal podrán transmitir ideas, emociones e inquietudes por este otro canal.
Uno de los aspectos pedagógicos importantes del proyecto también es la práctica y aprendizaje del inglés a través de juegos y canciones; por esto el equipo de NEPAL VOX tiene conocimiento y dominio de esta lengua y en algunos casos incluso de su pedagogía académica.
Quién, dónde y cuándo tendrá lugar NEPAL VOX?
El proyecto se está llevando a cabo entre Julio y Agosto de 2015 en Kathmandú (Nepal) y por un periodo aproximado de 30 dias.
NEPAL VOX está siendo desarrollado por:
Luc-Olivier Sánchez, pianista y director de coros, y Toni Santiago, maestro de música y director de coros. Ambos miembros de Creciendo Nepal, sede de Barcelona, los cuáles viajaron el pasado mes de Abril a Kathmandú donde tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer a los niños del proyecto y realizar algunas actividades lúdicas y artísticas con ellos.
Además, el equipo contará con la ayuda inestimable en Nepal de dos acompañantes que viajaran desde España para la ocasión, Marc Holanda, clarinetista, guitarrista y monitor de actividades y Asmit Blázquez, estudiante de derecho y ADE, y monitor de actividades. Ambos, colaborando en la logística, organización y el acompañamiento de los niños, llevando a cabo juegos y actividades diversas para ellos durante nuestra estancia en Nepal y documentando los talleres.
NEPAL VOX además cuenta con la colaboración de Furba Sherpa (Nepal), Yolanda Ruiz (España) y Guillaume Dereck (Bélgica), todos integrantes de la ONG Local Be Human, residentes en Kathmandú y amigos y colaboradores de Creciendo en Nepal. Su labor se desarrollará a través de la planificación, alquiler, reservas, contacto directo con terceros en el lugar y otros posibles menesteres del proyecto.
En Kathamndú se está trabajando con los dos grupos de niños que acompaña Creciendo en Nepal y que ya suman 40 y cada uno de estos grupos tiene como responsables y colaboradores directos en la planificación y organización de los talleres a: Kumari Tamang, secretaria de Creciendo en Nepal en Katmandú y Purna Gurung, a cargo de Poor and Helpless Girls Home ambas personas responsables a la vez del proyecto que lleva a cabo Creciendo en Nepal en Kathmandú.

– Talleres de Canto Coral y Movimiento.
– Talleres de intercambio cultural.
– Talleres de artes plásticas.
– Taller de Expresión corporal y movimiento orgánico.
– Talleres de conversa en inglés y creación de mini-relatos.
– Talleres de intercambio de juegos Nepal – España.
Todo el material que se compre para los talleres quedará después para uso de los niños y niñas de Creciendo en Nepal.

What does NEPAL VOX mean?
VOX is a generic expression that includes one artistic part and one humanistic part; VOX is the word which sum up this double objective of the Project.
In one side the artistic sense of the word express a big component of the workshops, the chorus singing, where the voice through the boys and girls´s singing, it is one of the great focus.
Then, the “voice” also understood as a clever way of expression of ideas, feelings, communication and one of the means of creation of the most powerful affective bonds that the human being has.
Begining with this title we glimpse a double objective: listen to what the boys and girls have to say, what they think, what they feel, even if it is not right in this moment and in the other side as the art and music belong to an universal language they will be able to transmit their ideas, emotions and worries by these chanels.
One of the important facet pedagogic of the Project is also the practice and learning English language through games and songs; that is why the NEPAL VOX team has the knowledge and they have a good command of this language and in some cases even the academic teaching ability.
Who, where and when will have place NEPAL VOX?
The Project is taking placed between months July and August 2015 in Kathmandu (Nepal) and for an approximate period of 30 days.
NEPAL VOX is being developed by:
Luc-Oliver Sánchez, pianist and chorus director, and Toni Santiago, music teacher and chorus director. Both of them members of Creciendo en Nepal, from the head office in Barcelona, who travelled tha last April to Kathmandu where they had the opportunity to know the children of the Project and to do some playful and artistic activities with them.
The team will also have the invaluable help in Nepal of two companions who will travel from Spain for this event, Marc Holanda, clarinettist, guitarrist and activities instructor and Asmit Blazquez, Law student and ADE, and activities instructor. Both of them collaborate in logistics, organization and the accompaniment of the children, playing games and different activities for them during their stay in Nepal and documenting the workshops.
NEPAL VOX has as well the colaboration fo Furba Sherpa (Nepal), Yolanda Ruiz (Spain) and Guillaume Dereck (Belgic), all are part of teh ONG Local Be Human, who live in Kathmandu and friends and team members of Creciendo en Nepal. They will develop their tasks with the planification, rent, reservations, direct contact with intermediaries in the area and other possible needings of the Project.
They are working in Kathmandu with both of the groups of children who go well with Creciendo en Nepal and that it counts 40 and each group has as responsables and as direct collaborators in the planification and organization of the workshops to: Kumari Tamang, Creciendo en Nepal´s Secretary in Katmandu and Purna Gurung, who is in charge of the Poor and Helples Girls Home, both of them also responsables of the Project which is carrying out Creciendo en Nepal in Kathmandu.
